It was a novel. Then it was a movie. Now it’s going to be a video game.

Revealed during The Game Awards this year, Saber Interactive and Paramount are teaming together to bring the property to fans hungry to do their own zombie killing sans Brad Pitt’s flesh body. Saber luckily has some experience turning films into games with titles like Battle: Los Angeles and R.I.P.D. The Game. Unfortunately, those weren’t very good.

But who knows why those games ended up the way they did. Saber also put out NBA Playgrounds earlier this year, and that was pretty okay. They seemed to have captured some iconic moments of World War Z as well what with the body piles of the undead climbing up to reach their dinner and nighttime tarmacs that only serve as a runway for bad news.

It’s going to be a four-person co-op experience, which makes sense. “Use traps, barriers and the environment strategically to stay alive.” There’s a lot to be discovered about what this game actually is (is it story-driven or more like Left 4 Dead, is there a Fortnite-style crafting system for the traps, where does this land with Days Gone on the horizon), but this looks like it has potential.

Look for it soon, I guess, on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
